Adidas, the international designer and manufacturer of athletic shoes, apparel and accessories, is joining the growing community of global brands moving to the Hudson Square area, signing a 10-year lease for 15,220 square feet on the third floor of Trinity Real Estate?s 435 Hudson Street.

Founded in 1949, Adidas is a worldwide leader in sporting goods, shoes and apparel with an impressive stable of brands and an expansive range of products. The company is expanding its footprint in New York with its newest home at 435 Hudson which will house marketing offices and showroom space. Adidas is joining Hudson Square?s family of design and fashion industry firms, which includes Tory Burch, 3.1 Philip Lim, Thakoon, Jen Kao and Atelier New York, as well as the continuously expanding roster of creative, media, corporate, arts and nonprofit companies including Viacom, Horizon Media, Omnicom, HAVAS, WNYC New York Public Radio/Jerome L. Greene Performance Space, CBS Radio East, New York Magazine, Postworks New York, Two Sigma Investments, Splashlight Photographic and Digital Studios, One Kings Lane, The Children?s Museum of the Arts, The Jackie Robinson Foundation and others.

Originally completed in 1931, 435 Hudson Street is situated between Leroy and Morton Streets on the neighborhood?s northwest corner adjacent to Greenwich Village. The building is just one block from the entrance to the #1 subway line and offers 24/7 tenant access, onsite management and security. The nine-story, approximately 290,000 s/f building is home to L?Oreal USA, New York Review of Books, Deluxe, @Radical Media and Freemantle Media. The average rent for the space over the life of the lease is approximately $70 per square foot.

Trinity Real Estate was represented by Marc Packman and Peter Fontanetta while Adidas was represented by John Moxley of Jones Lang LaSalle.
