Enter now to win a Pad & Quill Field Bag or Little Pocket Book!

Hands down, some of our favorite iPad and iPhone accessories are handcrafted with love by the Pad & Quill team. I am personally fascinated by the workmanship that is poured into these creations, and admire Brian and Kari (Mr and Mrs P&Q) for not only their products, but also for sticking to the highest standards possible.

Crafted with the durability to become a family heirloom, the substantial full grain American cowhide leather, hefty twill woven waxed canvas, Baltic birch, and other fine materials in these products are each chosen specifically for their fine qualities. You would be hard pressed to find anything close to matching the attention to detail you'll find from Pad & Quill.

Here is your chance to win an immaculately crafted piece from Pad & Quill. We have two different prizes available for our readers this week.

The Field Bag - A portrait styled carry all with American full grain leather, 18 oz waxed canvas and held together with parachute grade UV resistant stitching. Tons of pockets and lined with our signature orange for finding your stuff and a tribute to World Vision. Each bag signed by person who made It!

Little Pocket Book for iPhone - Artfully protects your favorite device and leaves plenty of space for cash and credit cards. A simple, and dare we say, essential, tool that bundles your must-haves so you can unburden your pockets.

To enter, leave a comment below and let us know which one of these awesome Pad & Quill creations you'd most love to call your own and why. We'll pick two winners next week (one for each item) and announce it here on the blogs! Normal iMore contest rules apply! Good luck everyone!

iMore show video back on iTunes and RSS!

It's been a long time coming, but the iMore show's video feed is finally back on both RSS and iTunes for your viewing pleasure. That it was missing in action for so long has been as irksome for us as it has been for all of you who emailed and tweeted us about it. But, long story short, now we're back!

Long story slightly less short, nobody was happy with the performance of our previous video host, not us, not you, not them. We got nothing but complaints about how long it took to download shows and how often they'd get interrupted when streaming. It wasn't the host's fault, they just weren't optimized for large video files. Wrong tool for the job. After a ton of searching, a ton of tests, and a ton of downloads and uploads, we found a place that better suited our needs and got everything back up running.

Well, iMore everything. I started with the iMore show simply because I had all the files handy and if anything went wrong, I'd only have myself to yell at. We'll get the other video shows back up and running as soon as possible, including Android Central and ZEN & TECH. It might take a few days because we're moving around a bunch of big files, but the new beginning is in sight.

If you've been missing our video shows on RSS or iTunes, here are the link so you can (re)subscribe, and there also YouTube, which carries all our videos shows as well. Thanks for the patience and the support, enjoy the shows!

Watching this guy mountain bike down a rocky narrow cliff is insanity

Watching this guy mountain bike down a rocky narrow cliff is insanity

This is just bananas. Coconuts. Hot Dogs. I don't know. Just watch this guy, who I assume is either insane, has the biggest brass ones ever or lost a cruel bet, zoom down the narrowest of a mountain cliff on his mountain bike at super fast speeds. Sometimes, I don't even see any trails or roads when I'm watching the video. Just sharp rocks and places to fall.

Amazon merging Kindle documents and Cloud Drive, 10GB combined free storage

Good news this morning for Kindle owners; it seems you're likely to be waking up to some changes in the way your cloud documents storage works that results in a combined 10GB of free Amazon Cloud Drive. We've received a tip that this is pushing out, and that the merger of 5GB of Kindle documents and 5GB of Amazon Cloud Drive is now amounting to a combined 10GB account that covers everything. Pretty neat.

We've also confirmed that this is only applying to Kindle customers. Indeed, those of us without a Kindle are still languishing back on the 5GB free tier. The new combined account means that your previously Kindle exclusive 5GB can be used for other files such as images and videos – not forgetting Amazon has an iOS app for it's Cloud Drive photos! And that's just great.

Customers are being notified by email it seems, but if you've not seen one yet fire up your Cloud Drive and take a look!

Thanks Alex for the tip!

Is this week the worst week in American history?

Is this week the worst week in American history?

History buffs might not know this already but it seems as if this week—April 14th to April 20th—might be the worst week in American history. Things like President Lincoln being assassinated, the Bay of Pigs invasion, the Columbine shooting, the Virginia Tech school shooting, the Oklahoma City bombing, the Boston Marathon bombing, etc. all happened during this week in history.
