No. 5: Cooper City Nerdwallet liked the $91,650 median household income and 71.9 percent employment rate. This is the pool of the Delano at Monterra in Cooper City.

Nerdwallet, a service that helps find the best consumer deals, is weighing in on the best cities in South Florida to find a job.

Cities in each of the three counties made the list, but South Florida didn't grab the state's top slot. The Tampa area cities of Wesley Chapel, Valrico and Riverview took the top three slots, while Fruit Cove, a Jacksonville suburb, was No. 4.

The ranking is based on salaries, population growth and number of people employed. Retiree populations were taken into account.

The attached slideshow has a countdown of the top South Florida cities.
